Just returned from a wonderful trip to Paris and London. The cities are so beautiful and the people we met were very friendly and helpful. My husband was such a sport. He went with me to four flea markets in Paris and three in London. In Paris we went to Puces de Saint-Ouen, Puces de Vanves, Marche d'Aligre and Marche du Livre Ancien. In London we went to Spitafields, Portobello and Alfies. I was so busy looking at all the treasures that I didn't take many pictures at the markets.

We must have walked ten miles a day. It was a good thing we did because we ate so much good food. Such great restaurants and food markets all over both cities. Of course we visited Laduree in Paris and had their yummy macarons. We also took in the usual tourist spots.

In London we went to VV Rouleaux which is a fabulous ribbon and notions shop.

On Columbia Road in London where they have a flower market on Sunday, there are also so many wonderful shops along the road. We stopped at Vintage Heaven which really was a lovely store.

Treacle was another adorable store with vintage goods and cupcakes. What a combo.

Jesse Chorley and Buddug was another fabulous shop. I met the owner Jesse. The store was stocked with wonderful handmade goods crafted with vintage papers.

I also spent some time (a lot of time) wandering around the Liberty store. There is so much to see there.

We covered a lot of ground and I enjoyed every minute of it.
